Carnival Cruise Line has announced the comprehensive 2027 Alaska season schedule for its cruise schedule, providing guests with a wide variety of itineraries to experience the stunning scenery of the region. With Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend based in Seattle and Carnival Luminosa sailing from San Francisco, the line will feature more than 50 seven-day and eight-day Alaska sailings from May to September. These will be paired with spring and fall repositioning cruises for even more ways visitors can stand in awe at the natural beauty of Alaska.

Carnival’s strategy involves deploying three ships to create the ideal blend of stunning Alaskan vistas and the vibrant, energetic atmosphere that the brand is renowned for. As the demand for Alaska cruises continues to grow, these sailings are often booked well ahead of time. With its established reputation for delivering immersive and unforgettable cruise experiences, Carnival’s voyages offer travelers an even more appealing opportunity to discover one of the world’s most pristine and iconic destinations.

Carnival Luminosa

In 2027, Carnival Spirit will set sail on two consecutive Carnival Journeys cruises, each offering unique experiences. The first voyage, a nine-day Western Caribbean cruise, departs from Mobile on March 20, 2027. Guests will have the chance to explore picturesque destinations such as Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Montego Bay, and Isla Tropicale. Afterward, the ship will embark on an extraordinary 16-day Panama Canal expedition, departing on March 29, 2027. This exceptional journey will include a full transit of the iconic Panama Canal, along with stops in Cartagena, Cabo San Lucas, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica. These itineraries combine the tropical allure of the Caribbean with the historic grandeur of the Panama Canal.

Beginning on May 3, 2027, the 2,800-guest Carnival Luminosa will begin offering 10-day cruises from San Francisco to Alaska. These voyages will feature visits to Alaska’s most scenic destinations, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Prince Rupert. In addition, Carnival Luminosa will also offer several Baja Mexico cruises, including nine four-day extended-weekend sailings to Ensenada, departing on Thursdays and returning on Mondays. This shorter getaway option offers travelers an opportunity to experience the beauty of Mexico’s Pacific coast while enjoying the comforts and amenities of a Carnival cruise.

Carnival Legend

Carnival Legend will embark on a noteworthy journey in April 2027, repositioning from Tampa to Seattle. The ship will kick off its deployment with a 16-day Panama Canal voyage, marking Carnival’s first visit to Acapulco, Mexico, since 2010. This special sailing, departing April 4, 2027, will also visit other key destinations, such as Cartagena and Santa Marta in Colombia, Cabo San Lucas, and feature a full transit of the Panama Canal. Acapulco’s dramatic cliffs, golden beaches, and vibrant culture will offer guests a unique experience as Carnival reintroduces this iconic Mexican destination.

Beginning April 20, 2027, Carnival Legend will embark on an exciting Alaska season, homeported in Seattle. Throughout the summer, the ship will sail 22 week-long voyages, taking guests to some of Alaska’s most sought-after destinations, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Victoria, British Columbia. These cruises are ideal for travelers eager to experience the untouched beauty of Alaska, all while enjoying Carnival’s renowned amenities and entertainment. In addition, Carnival Legend will set sail on a 16-day Hawaii voyage on September 21, 2027, departing from Seattle. The itinerary will include stops in Honolulu, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Kahului, and Victoria, BC, offering a tropical escape with a touch of scenic elegance.

Carnival Spirit

Carnival Spirit will embark on two back-to-back Carnival Journeys cruises, beginning with a nine-day Western Caribbean sailing from Mobile on March 20, 2027. The cruise will explore stunning destinations such as Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Montego Bay, and Isla Tropicale. Following this, the ship will depart on a 16-day Panama Canal adventure starting March 29, 2027. This extended journey will include a full passage through the iconic Panama Canal, with additional stops in Cartagena, Cabo San Lucas, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Together, these voyages offer guests a perfect blend of picturesque Caribbean landscapes and the historic grandeur of the Panama Canal.

On April 14, 2027, Carnival Spirit will depart Seattle for a 15-day voyage to Hawaii, visiting all four major Hawaiian Islands along with a stop in Victoria, BC, Canada. Starting April 29, 2027, the ship will embark on 20 seven-day cruises from Seattle to Alaska, visiting Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Victoria, BC. One additional nine-day cruise will also include a stop in Sitka, providing guests with an even more comprehensive Alaska experience.
