Information released by the UN about the severe drought in Somalia!

The United Nations has reported that about 1 million people have been displaced after the worst drought in Somalia for more than 40 years last year.

In Somalia, which has a population of about 1.59 million people, it has been mentioned that about 755,000 people have left their homes in search of water this year alone.

It is noteworthy that the number of people facing starvation in Somalia will increase from 5 million to 7 million in the coming months due to climate change and the rise in food prices caused by the Ukraine-Russia war.
